Example
The schematic diagram at the right represents a simple parallel circuit with a 30 Volt battery and with three additional branches, each containing a resistor. Resistor 1 has a resistance of 9 Ohms, resistor 2 has a resistance of 21 Ohms, and resistor 3 has a resistance of 17 Ohms (Note: You can see a lifelike representation of the schematic diagram below the diagram.). Use what we know about simple parallel circuits to find the following about the circuit shown:
