Galileo and Inertia
According to our experiment, the skater should keep going FOREVER if he is released from somewhere above the ground on the left-hand side of the track IF the right-hand side of the track is HORIZONTAL. Once the skater is set into motion, it will tend to stay in motion. This tendency to resist changes in motion is called INERTIA.
