Particle Motion
In physics, we say that a particle is any object which can be represented as a mass with a volume which occupies a single point. We often loosen the definition of particle to include any really tiny, roughly spherical objects. Using the loose definition of particle, we can say electrons, protons, neutrons, and even molecules are particles. Click HERE to learn about the class of particles called the elementary particles.
