Pascal's Principle
Pascal's Principle is a result of the relative in-compressibility of liquids, and states that if the pressure in a liquid is changed at one point in the liquid, the change in pressure is transmitted to all points throughout the liquid. A hydraulic press works using Pascal's Principle.
