Part One: Eyes Open
Each team member will do the following:
- Place the target labeled with your name and "Eyes Open" on the floor. Have a partner hold the target still. The partner should have a pencil ready.
- Hold a penny about 2 meters above the floor (at about the same height as the top of your head).
- Drop the penny onto the target. The goal is to get a bull's eye.
- The partner should carefully locate where the penny first hit the target and draw an 'X' exactly where the penny first hit the target.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 ten times, carefully drawing an 'X' at each location where the penny first hit the target.
- Replace the target with the "Eyes Open" target for the next team member, and repeat steps 1 through 5 for the next team member. Repeat until each person gets to drop the penny ten times on his or her "Eyes Open" target.
Part Two: Eyes Closed
Each team member will do the following:
- This part is similar to the "Eyes Open" part, except now the team member who is dropping the penny must keep his or her eyes closed at all times.
- A team member is allowed to coach the penny dropper, but the coach is not allowed to touch the person dropping the penny.
- Each team member should drop the penny ten times on his or her "Eyes Closed" target.
