Scientific Fact
So, what is a scientific fact, you ask. Good question! A scientific fact is something about which reputable scientists (or other educated people) agree at a given time.

There are many facts about which scientists agree at this time. For instance, virtually every reputable scientist agrees that all matter is made of small particles called atoms.
You would have a hard time finding a scientist or educated person who does not agree that all matter is made of atoms.
Because scientists agree with the above statement, we call the above statement a scientific fact.
