In the "Momentum and Impulse" reading assignment, we learned that a system is defined as whatever object or set of objects we are studying in a particular problem. Click HERE if you need to review the definition of system.
We can find the total linear momentum of a system by calculating the linear momentum of each object in the system and then adding all of the momenta together. Note: "Momenta" is just the plural of momentum.
